If you need to hire a meeting room in the Newcastle area or you’re looking for a training venue close to rail and metro links, Clavering House is the perfect place for anything from 2 to 50 people.
All meeting rooms are equipped with fast WiFi, a flip-chart, and most have either a wall-mounted flat-screen tv or access to a projector and screen.
Refreshments and catering can be arranged according to your budget and requirements, and are sourced from a range of top-quality local suppliers. Periods less than a day can be accommodated – just ask!

We are delighted to offer you our ‘Front Room’, with a built-in flat-screen which can comfortably seat up to 8 people.
Situated on the ground floor next to reception, refreshments are included in the room hire cost. *All quoted prices are ex. VAT.
Training Room 1

Space for up to 40 people
Hire a flexible function room, with a built-in flat-screen, for training, meetings and a whole host of other events. The tables can be rearranged for up to 14 people, or removed altogether to accommodate up to 40 people theatre-style. *All quoted prices are ex. VAT.
Training Room 2
£45* per hour or
£330* per day
Space for up to 50 people
This is a great feature room that can seat 50 theatre style, and up to 28 seated at tables, classroom or u-shape format. A free-standing screen, projector and flipchart stand are also available. The Training Room is located on the ground floor of Clavering House, where a kitchen and toilet facilities are also available. *All quoted prices are ex. VAT.
